About JDExotics

Bindi with Banana Cream Pie on her face April 24th 2010

Here at JDExotics we only breed and sell our baby Kinkajous to qualified homes. You may see other animals throughout our site but they are our pets. We do not breed any other animals besides Kinkajous which enables us to specialize and concentrate on these magnificent creatures and them alone.

We are a USDA Licensed breeding facility that is located in Northwest Ohio and prefer prospective parents to pick up their babies, however, we will ship all over the United States as long as it is a direct flight with no layovers.

We are currently home to 10 fabulous kinkajous; Lillian, Superfly, Goldie, Scarlett, G2, Momma, Houdini, Jessa-Belle, Buddy and Sysko. Lillian is our large variety kinkajou while the other nine are the more common smaller variety.

It is JDExotics responsibility as owners and breeders of kinkajous to provide them with the best quality care and environment. We provide them with lots of love and attention. All of our kinkajous are microchipped and registered with Avid. This added security helps you know that we truly care about the safety and well being of all our kinkajous.

We encourage "new parents" to come to our facility to pick up their babies. Our animals are breeding animals, and we are a "breeding" facility; so we cannot allow visitors to our facility to view our exotics. Not only do strangers stress our animals, we are also not licensed as exhibitors.

As breeders of hand-raised exotic pets, JDExotics carefully selects prospective parents based on their knowledge or willingness to research and gain the knowledge required for proper animal ownership. We hold our babies and our parents in the highest regard, and require nothing less than the best for them.

We are often asked if our kinkajous are the large or small variety. All of our breeders are the small variety which is what is found in the pet industry in the United States. There are very few of the larger variety here in the United States.
